By far the most exciting update we have to bring you following the government announcement, scheduling our roadmap to the great return of our studio.
The Key date – Monday 12th April
Put it in your diaries – Make sure your Project:U App is up and running and be ready to get booked in from when the classes go live from the 1st of April on the booking system.
We can’t wait!!
Roadmap to re-opening Challenge
Start: Monday 1st March
End: Friday 9th April
A six weeks transformation to steer you in the right direction to lose those “lockdown lbs” and help us gain confidence for the 12th April ready for gyms and outdoor drink sessions 😉.
Big prizes for top 5 people that we believe had put the most effort and tracked daily both 3 weeks in and at the end.

Look the majority of us have put on a little bit of timber or some of us feel looser and less toned so this is an opportunity to get back to a good place by the time your social events will really start such as beer gardens, gyms and BBQ. I tried a shirt that I would normally wear for summer and I didn’t feel confident in it whatsoever so I know I need to change … we want you feel much better ; physically and mentally by the time the studio opens and we believe this challenge will help you.
How to get started?
-Before you start, set your goal. Go to your hub page on the online app and there will be an embedded form on there for you.
-Send your front side and back pics to firstname.lastname@example.org
Use the weight/measurement tab on your app to input your weight and measurements.
-Complete https://healthyeater.com/flexible-dieting-calculatorand you know how many calories you will be eating each day over the next 6 weeks.
What we expect?
- Every week you will get weighed to stay accountable and we will be checking.
- In terms of following a plan, there are plans in the files section.
- Every day you will be asked to fill in a daily goal checker inputter where you will input; your steps , your calories , your protein percentages.This will be on the weights/measurements part of your app.
- Commit to a couple of sessions a week if possible we want to see 3 a week and we will be doing different and fun workouts to keep you entertained.
- Achieve a minimum of 8k steps every day.
- Get weighed weekly and do this without fail …. good or bad!
Plans for Re-Opening
I know it’s not over and I know there is still a battle but I just want to say thank you for all the key workers during this, I could imagine your time being tough, frustrating and some days like pushing water uphill with a fork but your efforts are appreciated by all staff and I can speak on behalf of all clients too and say thank you.
Secondly, we have a provisional date, yes a provisional date! 12th April. It is amazing to see an end date and it’s amazing to feel the motivation towards a) returning back to the studio b) having a social life again. I said back in March 2020, the pandemic will not define us. Rather, our collective response to this pandemic will define us. Thank you for your loyalty and trust in Project:U as we navigate out of this crisis. You have been patient, understanding and thoughtful during this whole process.
Regarding sessions and timings etc on return we will no doubt let you know the week prior when Boris makes his announcement to say whether step 2 will go ahead or be delayed and it all depends on what information will be relayed to us from the governing bodies. Also, regarding transformation programmes we will do the same as above for both Sculpt and the Transformation:Project, when we find out dates, we will put the action plan in places. Again we have every angle covered but again it’s too early to release plans as we could end up with egg on our face.
As always, and I think you go “aww here he goes again”, I just want to say thank you so much for your support. You are very unselfish in your acts supporting us so that we can return to the studio and have a brilliant shot at rebuilding our vision for Project:U Fitness. I know it’s been mega tough for everyone; financially, mentally and physically and the fact you have supported us is amazing and we promise as always it is noted so thank you and we will no doubt provide a top level service to thank you for your loyalty in return.
I can’t believe it has been a year, a full year and I know some of you guys and girls maybe haven’t used the classes or haven’t used the site but I hope the posts, the interactions combined with the support has helped you during the lockdowns. We just want our studio back, we know how much it means to you ‘happy place, happy place, Project:U’, we can’t welcome you back in the studio where we will make sure that we provide the humour, the entertainment, the education, the support and everything you love about Project:U. Honestly, it makes me emotional and humbled to the fact that you support the team and I and I can’t stress enough, that I know you’ve heard before however I will say it till I am blue in my face.
Please for now, respect the rules and let’s do our bit in Northumberland to control the virus spread, it’s not over yet and there are still a lot of if’s and but’s if the roadmap slows down. I can’t wait to bring you news regarding the six weeks challenge online starting next week and I can’t wait to welcome you back and to show my appreciation for your support during these tough times.

NEW CLASSES ADDED
We love to keep you all entertained online, so we’ve added extra sessions each day for you to try. These sessions will help you mix up your workouts and use muscles you never knew you had!
MATTY’S WEIGHTLIFTING CLASSES
Our very own Matty Jerdan is hosting a set of new classes to give you a great full body workout using dumbbells and kettlebells. There are sessions every day, Monday to Friday at different times to give you all the opportunity to join in, no matter how busy your schedule!

SPINNING WITH REYNOLDS
Get ready to get your groove on with Chris! Every week, 12 lucky clients who wish to join in sessions, will be chosen at random to borrow our spinning bikes for a full week and join Chris and the gang for 3 fun filled sessions to destroy your legs!!! Bikes are to be picked up on Monday afternoon and returned the following Monday morning.

This week we are featuring Gemma’s amazing success! Since joining us in August last year, Gemma has consistently chipped away at her weight loss goal and now looks amazing!
Connor joined us in December last year and has lost an epic 55lbs! We can’t believe his transformation and we are so proud of how well he has done. He’s chomping at the bit to get back into the studio and continue his fitness journey. Well done Connor!
